Looking for a versatile coffee that suits any occasion? The Ambassador Blend is the perfect choice, with fruity, floral, and tea-like notes in a balanced medium roast. Sourced from the high-altitude farms in Mexico and Kenya, this coffee delivers a smooth, satisfying cup every time.
Tasting Notes
Floral, fruity, and with a subtle tea-like quality. Enjoy a balanced blend with notes of cherry, dark chocolate, and a touch of citrus – perfect for an everyday cup.
Roast Profile
Medium roast, enhancing the natural fruity and floral characteristics while maintaining a smooth, elegant finish. Ideal for both espresso and drip brewing.
Origin
This blend is a combination of high-quality beans from two regions: Cordoba, Veracruz in Mexico and Eastern Kenya. The farms in these regions benefit from high altitudes, providing the perfect growing conditions for flavour-rich coffee beans.
Processing Method
The Mexican beans are fully washed and sun-dried at 1200-1500 MASL, while the Kenyan beans undergo a similar washed process, allowing their distinct flavours to shine.
Recommended Brew Methods
• Espresso: Enjoy the blend’s bold, floral notes with a clean, bright finish.
• Pour Over: A delicate and balanced brew highlighting the blend’s fruity and tea-like qualities.
• Drip Brew: A well-rounded cup with smooth, complex flavours that suit any time of day.
Sustainability
The Ambassador Blend is sourced from sustainable farms in Mexico and Kenya. The Mexican Rivas family uses ecologically friendly practices, preserving 27 hectares of rainforest for local wildlife. Kenyan farmers are part of small cooperatives that promote soil health through intercropping with trees and food crops.
Brewing Tips
For espresso, we recommend 18-20 grams of coffee with a brewing temperature between 93-95°C. For pour-over, adjust the grind size to medium-fine to balance the fruity notes.
Flavour Profile
Floral and fruity with a smooth, tea-like finish. Expect hints of cherry, dark chocolate, and citrus in this elegantly balanced blend.
